.On some tabs (for example, the Clients tab), you can change the way records are shown onscreen.
This is available by selecting either
Split Mode
or Screen Mode .
Selecting Split Mode will create two panes in the tab view. The top pane contains the standard tabular record listing, while the bottom pane contains the details for the selected record.
Switching between records will show the details for that record. This allow you to view details about each record without having to manually double-click and/or open each record's detail screen. Use this option when you want to make changes to many records quickly.
Screen Mode is the default setting, and is the only setting available for many tabs. With this setting, the entire tab screen displays tabular data; you must open each record manually by double-clicking it or selecting it and clicking the Open button.
